First post as a PGT
Hello all. Back after some time. Some busy time. Got into a MD course in pathology (yeah you are right, that blood, urine and stool department - at least most people think so). So expect my forthcoming blogs to get more sombre, dark and littered with pictures of broken hearts, empty stomachs, fatty livers and chronic kidneys (if at all I have time to blog).

Whirlwind trip to Asansol and Armbag
Recently a job offer came up at Asansol, and I went on a one and a half day trip of Bardhaman. Although the offer was not to good, but the trip was worth it.
From the train just after it left Bandel, probably somewhere in Magra
Beginning of the industrial belt in Durgapur
The tracks that will never meet
The usual suspect
While returning from Asansol, I met a family of pilgrims from Kumbha Mela, homeward bound in the Chambal Express.
The Curzon gate at Bardhaman (wonder who is that beneath the crow's foot)
The Damodar river (the same one Ishwar Chandra Banerjee crossed to meet his mother, guess his job would have been easier now)
En route from Arambag to Kolkata
The solitary abode
Over the Mundeshwari river
Could anybody tell me what are those flowers?

A short trip to Delhi
I have recently come back from Delhi. Pranay Majumdar, a renowned cards maestro had accompanied me on the tour. This is Duronto express, which took me to New Delhi.
This is Pranay, in a pensive mood.
At breakfast.

Feasting before the hungry millions of India
Glorifying himself
In an obverse moment
A temple in Old Delhi
And a Gurudwara
People praying for food outside a Gurudwara, Chandni Chowk
The Lalkila (Red Fort)
Dusk setting in
A dark staircase in Chandni Chowk

And this is Pranay snoring at his level best
